No cookies, no analytics, no third-party requests

This website sets no cookies. It uses no analytics, tracking or audience measurement tools, and it loads nothing from third-party servers: fonts, logos and images are served from the same host as the page itself. There is no content delivery network, no embedded maps, videos or social media buttons. Your browser establishes no connection to any third party while visiting this site.

There is no automated decision-making, including profiling, within the meaning of Art. 22 GDPR.

Server log files

Each page request transmits technically necessary data that our web server records:

  • IP address of the requesting device
  • date and time of the request
  • the requested address, the status code and the volume of data transferred
  • the previously visited page (referrer), if your browser sends it
  • browser type, browser version and operating system

Purpose: delivering the page, operational security, and detecting and investigating faults and attacks.

Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest is the secure, stable operation of this website.

Retention: the logs are not combined with other data sources and are not used to analyse user behaviour. They are deleted after 90 days at the latest.

Contacting us by email

If you write to us, we process the details in your message (name, email address and content) in order to answer your enquiry.

Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR where your enquiry concerns a contract or its preparation; otherwise Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries.

Retention: until your enquiry has been dealt with conclusively. After that we delete it, unless commercial or tax law requires us to keep it (§ 257 German Commercial Code, § 147 German Fiscal Code: six and ten years respectively).

Contact form

The form on the contact page has no sending mechanism of its own. It validates your input in the browser and then places it into an email to info@klackwerk.de that opens in your own email programme. You send that email yourself, through your own email provider, whose privacy notice governs that processing. No input is transmitted to us or stored via this website. Your message reaches us as an ordinary email; the section “Contacting us by email” above applies to it. Once a sending mechanism of our own is in place, this notice will be extended accordingly beforehand.

Hosting

This website is operated as a static site by a processor. Operation takes place exclusively within the European Union; a data processing agreement under Art. 28 GDPR is in place with the provider. No personal data is transferred to a third country.

Provider: Hetzner Online GmbH, Industriestr. 25, 91710 Gunzenhausen, Germany

Your rights

You have the following rights with regard to us:

  • access to the data we process about you (Art. 15 GDPR)
  • rectification of inaccurate data (Art. 16 GDPR)
  • erasure (Art. 17 GDPR)
  • restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR)
  • data portability (Art. 20 GDPR)
  • objection to processing based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (Art. 21 GDPR)

A message to the address given above is enough to exercise them.

Right to lodge a complaint

Independently of this, you may lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority (Art. 77 GDPR). The authority responsible for us is:

Der Hamburgische Beauftragte für Datenschutz und Informationsfreiheit
Ludwig-Erhard-Straße 22, 20459 Hamburg, Germany
datenschutz-hamburg.de

Providing your data

You are under no obligation to provide us with personal data. Without the details in your message, however, we cannot answer an enquiry.

Status

Status of this notice: August 2026. We will amend it whenever the processing changes, for instance as soon as the contact form sends by itself.
